Offsight has integrated with
PlanGrid®, a field collaboration software that is part of
Autodesk Construction Cloud TM , to enhance project management capabilities for offsite construction projects using one, central hub. The integration feeds PlanGrid RFIs, Submittals, and Documents to operators, quality inspectors and other Offsight users on the prefabrication factory floor during key parts of the prototyping and production process.
“As more construction moves offsite over the coming years, it’s crucial that factories and general contractors are able to manage their offsite projects from the early stages of prototyping and design to full production, delivery and installation. Integrating with PlanGrid allows us to make that a reality,” said
Vikas Murali, CEO of Offsight.
“As manufacturing and construction continue to converge, teams must be able to easily coordinate their prefabrication activities with the jobsite,” said
James Cook, head of integrations at Autodesk Construction Solutions. “Connecting the factory team using
Offsight to the field team using PlanGrid helps ensure everyone stays on the same page, and projects are completed more seamlessly.”
As a fast-growing company, Offsight has expanded its customer base to include the US, UK and Canada and caters to a variety of stakeholders on offsite projects including factory builders, general contractors, third party inspectors, real estate developers and owners.
