Offsight has just released its Live Production Snapshot feature, allowing users to download a real-time snapshot report from the production floor with just one click. In most scenarios, a report is generated after production is completed giving us total time, labor hours, and other production related data. However, this feature allows you to now generate an easy-to-access snapshot report on products still in production with a single click.

This improves Offsight’s value as a production system by allowing production data to be viewed at all stages of the manufacturing process. You can not only track where your product is but also accurately create real-time reporting on movements through the factory floor. These snapshot reports provide vital data on productivity as well as factory performance.

Offsight has made a highly requested enhancement to purchase orders. Variable pricing allows users to now edit the pricing for materials in purchase orders and generates an average price for that material.

This provides accounting flexibility if price changes occur after a purchase order is created. In many cases, material price fluctuations do occur during material fulfillment and this feature allows users to capture the price changes to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
